Short version: use it for your own job hunt, do not abuse it, and understand that it is provided as-is by one person rather than by a company with a support desk.

Your account

One account per person. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us if you think someone else has got into it.

Your data is yours

Everything you put in stays yours. No claim is made over your notes, and nothing you write is used to train anything. You can ask for a copy or a deletion at any time.

Job postings

Jobtrail reads postings from public job boards and keeps a copy so the details survive the listing coming down. That content belongs to whoever published it, and it is stored for your personal reference only.

What you cannot do

Do not use it to scrape at scale, to resell the data, or to do anything unlawful. Do not try to reach anyone else’s account.

No guarantees

This is provided as-is, with no warranty. It may be unavailable, a posting may be read wrongly, and an email may not arrive. Keep your own record of anything that matters and do not rely on it as the only copy of something important. Liability is limited to what you have paid, which is nothing.

Ending it

Stop using it whenever you like and ask for your account to be removed. An account may be closed for abuse, or if running the service stops being viable, with notice and a chance to export where possible.
