Jobtrail holds your job hunt, which usually means notes about people, salary figures and things you would not want read by anyone else. This page says plainly what happens to it.

What is stored

Your email address and a hashed password. The jobs you add, including the full text of each posting as it appeared. Anything you write yourself: notes, prep, contacts and follow-ups. The companies you watch. Nothing else is collected about you.

What is not stored

Your password is never kept in a readable form, only as a bcrypt hash, which is why a reset link is the only way back in if you forget it. There is no advertising, no tracking pixels, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

Who can see it

Only you. Every query is scoped to your account. The person running this instance has database access, as anyone hosting software necessarily does.

Where it lives

On Vercel and a Neon Postgres database, both in the United States. Email is sent through Resend. Aggregate page-performance timings go to Vercel Speed Insights, which involves no cookies and no per-visitor identity. A nightly backup is emailed to the account owner.

How long it is kept

Until you delete it. Deleting a job deletes its notes, contacts and follow-ups with it. Ask and your whole account will be deleted, backups included, within thirty days.

Getting a copy, or getting it removed

Email support@duskgild.com and you will get your data as a file, or have it erased. No hoops.
